In lieu of completing numerous smaller fundraisers, where significant time and effort is put into planning and execution for unpredictable returns, the PAC voted to hold annual Direct Donation Drives.  

Where does the money go?
Each year the PAC contributes over $18,000 towards the enrichment of our students and $6000 towards school and community building events.

Donations go to:
  • Provide every division with an allowance for fieldtrips/learning support materials;
  • Provide funds for our library;
  • Provide funds for our music and athletic programs;
  • Help fund resources for learning and counselling; 
  • Help fund fun, entertaining and social engaging events for students to enjoy;
  • Support school programs and clubs: Garden Program, Grade 7 Graduation, Dance Club, Me-to-We; and,
  • Continue to have school and community events: Monster Mash, Pancake Breakfast, Christmas Caroling, snacks for Terry Fox Run and Sports Day, etc.

Tax receipts will be issued by the Burnaby School Board on donations of $20 or more. The recommended amount is $50 per student, but ANY amount is welcome! We accept donations from anyone or any company that wishes to contribute.

We understand that donating to the school may be difficult for some families, so we appreciate any amount and welcome parent participation at the school in lieu of a monetary contribution.

How do I donate?
  • Online: at www.schoolcashonline.com.  Register or Sign In.  Click on Make a Donation on the right side. Enter your amount and remember to select Forest Grove Elementary under Fund Destination. Tax receipts will be automatically generated from the information collected online.

  • In person:  place cash or cheque, payable to Forest Grove Elementary, in a sealed envelope labelled "Donation Drive" at the School Office.  If you want a tax receipt, you must include a completed Donation Drive Form.
  • Mail or courier:  send cheque, payable to "Forest Grove Elementary" in a sealed envelope labelled:  Forest Grove Elementary School, 8525 Forest Grove Drive, Burnaby, BC V5A 4H5.   If you want a tax receipt, you must include a completed Donation Drive Form.
